Cloudscale is led by a world-class team with deep experience in the design and implementation of scalable parallel computing and dataflow systems. Team members have held positions at some of the world's leading enterprise software companies, and at a number of Silicon Valley startups.

Bill McColl, Founder and CEO

Bill McColl left Oxford University to found Cloudscale. At Oxford for over twenty years, he was Professor of Computer Science, Head of the Parallel Computing Research Center, and Chairman of the CS Faculty. Cloudscale is his second Silicon Valley software company. He was also founder and CEO of Sychron Inc., a Silicon Valley VC-backed software company developing scalable software systems for datacenter and desktop virtualization. Bill lives in Palo Alto, CA.

Tony Faustini, VP Business Development and Product Management.

Tony is responsible for strategic partnerships, global business development and product and service management. Prior to joining Cloudscale, he spent 10 years at Microsoft Silicon Valley where he worked in a number of corporate divisions including Windows, WebTV, and Legal and Corporate Affairs, and leading teams in Software Licensing, Public Policy, and Standards. Prior to Microsoft, Tony spent three years at Sun Microsystems where he led the software team that developed the award-winning Java Studio product. Before that, he was a researcher at the Computer Science Laboratory at SRI International and a Tenured Professor of Computer Science. Tony has a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in parallel dataflow systems. He lives in Silicon Valley.
